In short
Save Ocean (Android and iOS) is developed by Burak Avar. The game has no user accounts: it never asks for a name, email address or password. You can delete your data in the game at any time, or by email.
1. Leave the world leaderboard (in the game)
Open the leaderboard with the podium button on the main menu and tap “Leave the leaderboard”.
Deleted immediately: your nickname and score on the leaderboard, your anonymous player ID and the stored game start times used for cheat protection.
2. Switch off statistics (in the game)
Open Settings and turn off “Statistics”. Collection stops immediately and the game asks Unity to delete the play statistics sent from your device.
Deleted: gameplay events, the random installation ID, device and diagnostic data (Unity Analytics).
3. Ask us by email
If you have uninstalled the game or cannot use the options above, email b2avargames@gmail.com with the subject “Data deletion – Save Ocean”. If you had joined the leaderboard, include your nickname so we can find your entry.
We delete the data within 30 days and confirm by email.
What is kept, and for how long
- Progress and settings are stored only on your device. They are removed when you uninstall the game or clear the app’s data.
- Play statistics that were not deleted on request are deleted automatically by Unity after 13 months at the latest.
- Leaderboard data is kept only while you are on the leaderboard.
- After deletion we keep no other data about you. Deletion request emails are kept only as long as needed to answer them.
